Football season is in full swing people! Sundays at my home (and Mondays) are spent soaking in every block, tackle, sack, interception and enjoying every touchdown. I love having a crowd over to root on our beloved Texans and feast on delicious game day eats. Heck everyone knows us Texans love queso. We literally live off queso, but today I want to introduce you to one of mi carino’s favorite game day snack – choriqueso.
A hearty queso dip made with chorizo, onions, tomatoes, cilantro and lots and lots of cheese, YUM! Served with warm tortilla chips choriqueso is a touchdown dance worthy dip. I developed this recipe in celebration of Cacique’s new shredded cheese blends. I used their Four Queso blend made with manchego, oaxaca, quesadilla and asadero, rich and creamy it makes my chorizoqueso recipe shine.
Head over to the Cacique website to check out my first recipe in featuring Four Queso shredded cheese blends and stay tuned for new recipes coming your way.
