Creamy Chipotle Dip
Growing up when papi had control of the T.V. (which meant mami was working) 1 of 3 categories were streaming.
Pedro Infante – Kung Fu Theater – Fútbol
And lucky us papi was in charge of dinner which always included popcorn heavily buttered, nachos laced with Velveeta (this is where my addiction began..) and Hidden Valley ranch dip.
He took advantage of these nights when he could get away with feeding us what he wanted to eat.
We kids never complained. Bring it on!
We would all sit huddled in the living room watching Fútbol screaming Goooooooaaaalllll!!
We still get together to catch a game, but these days we’re in charge of the food.
This Friday Mexico plays Nigeria in Houston and we are celebrating with this dip.
And we’re going to the game! YAY!
And guess what?
You can too! Tu Selección is sending two of my Texas readers to the game also.
Comment below for a chance to see Mexico take on Nigeria this Friday at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas. (giveaway ends 11:59 pm tonight)

Your father’s dinners sound a lot like my father’s dinners. Either way, it looks delicious.
