HI, I just found your site after forgetting where I got this amazing pickle recipe. My son and I fell in love with deep fried pickles after trying them at St. Louis Bar & Grill, but it costs $7.95 for 6 spears, we figured we could make them ourselves. We tried several different ways, none very good, until we came across your site. First batch ... AMAZING! I can't wait to make these for friends this weekend.

Keep experimenting!

BTW - what you said about cooking? Well in our house we have always used meal prep time as "spill time" as this is when our boys will spill about their day, not over dinner when asked "so how was your day". They are more likely to let you in on what's going on while folding batter, measuring sugar or taste testing caramel sauce!
