Buttermilk Pancake with Strawberry Compote {Giveaway} #Sweets4YourSweet

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg 16 oz Kerbey Lane Buttermilk pancake mix,
  • eggs
  • water
  • oil
  • 1 pound fresh strawberries
  • 2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  1. For Strawberry compote: Wash, hull and slice strawberries. Place sliced strawberries,sugar, vanilla and water in a bowl; set aside for 10 minutes while you prepare pancakes.
  2. Prepare pancakes as indicated on package.
  3. Place strawberries in saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a gentle simmer, stirring gently to not break up the strawberries. Simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and serve warm over pancakes.
