Spicy Avocado Hummus

Ingredients

  • 1 can 15.5 ounces chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 2 ripe avocados diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 teaspoon fresh lime juice
  • 1 cup salsa
  • Salt and ground pepper

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, combine chickpeas, cilantro, garlic, and avocados. Process until finely chopped. With machine running, add olive oil in a slow, steady stream, and then add lime juice, until mixture is smooth. Stri in salsa then season to taste with salt and freshly ground pepper. Serve with tortilla chips.
