El Chico del Apartamento 512 Margarita
Inspired by one of Selena’s most memorable songs El Chico del Apartamento 512, a fresh cantaloupe margarita was served at my Raised on Selena which celebrates the late Tejano’s life, legacy and impact on Latinos. The 512 is a loving nod from Selena to Corpus Christi, Texas’s former area code.

Ingredients
- 4 ounces fresh cantaloupe juice
- 4 ounces tequila Blanco
- 2 ounces lime juice
- 1 ounce Cointreau
- lime wedges
- kosher salt
Instructions

Run a lime wedge around glass and rim with salt. Fill glass with ice.

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice add cantaloupe juice, tequila, lime juice and Cointreau.

Shake vigorously, strain and serve. Garnish with lime & cantaloupe
