CONCHA BROWNIES – ONE BOWL BROWNIES

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter melted and cooled
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Dutch-processed or unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 ¼ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips divided
  • 2 conchas diced

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9×13-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray, set aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl stir together melted butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Sift in flour and cocoa. Add the salt and stir until just combined. Don't over mix. Fold in 1 cup of chocolate chips and gently fold in diced conchas. Spread evenly into prepared pan and sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup of chocolate chips on top of the brownies.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean, with a few moist crumbs attached. Remove from oven, allow to cool before slicing. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
