Slow Cooker Pumpkin Tequila Hot Toddy

My slow cooker pumpkin tequila hot toddy made with pumpkin puree, maple syrup, apple cider, cinnamon, star anise and tequila reposado is guaranteed to keep you warm and cozy this holiday season.

Ingredients

  • 5 cups water
  • ½ cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 2 cups apple cider
  • Two cinnamon sticks
  • 1 star anise
  • 1 cup tequila reposado

Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker combine the water, maple syrup, pumpkin puree, apple cider, cinnamon sticks, star anise and tequila reposado. Stir to combine.
  2. Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 3 to 4 hours.
  3. Ladle into mugs. Serve warm, garnished with a cinnamon stick (optional).
