Raspberry Tequila Sour

My raspberry tequila sour made with fresh raspberries, tequila, lemon juice and a frothy egg white is a refreshing cocktail perfect for summer!

Ingredients

  • 6-7 raspberries
  • 2 ounces tequila Blanco or Anejo
  • 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup
  • Few dashed of Angostura orange bitters
  • 1 teaspoon egg white at room temperature (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place raspberries, tequila, and lemon juice in cocktail shaker. Muddle to break up raspberries.
  2. Add simple syrup, bitter and egg white.
  3. Cover cocktail shaker and shake without ice vigorously for 10 seconds.
  4. Add ice to cocktail shaker and shake again vigorously for 30 seconds.
  5. Strain into glass and garnish.
