Eggnog Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 1/2 cup eggnog
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 2/3 cup pecan pieces
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 2 loaf pans

Instructions

  1. Beat sugar and egg in mixing bowl.

  2. Beat in melted butter and add eggnog and extract.

  3. Stir in flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg until moistened.

    Stir in nuts and fruit.

  4. Spoon into lightly greased loaf pans.

    Bake at 350 for about 1 hour until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.

  5. Allow to cool for 20 minutes.

    Remove from pan to cool.
