Manzanilla Canela Latte

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 4 tablespoons dried Manzanilla or 2 Manzanilla tea bags
  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk, coconut milk, or milk of your choice
  • 1 canela, (cinnamon stick)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • Additional dried manzanilla for serving

Instructions

  1. Bring the water to a simmer in a small saucepan.
  2. Remove from the heat and add the dried tea or tea bags, canela stick and honey.
  3. Cover and steep for 10 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, froth milk of choice.
  5. Strain into cups, top with frothed milk.
  6. Stir gently, taste for sweetness, add additional honey if desired.
  7. Serve warm garnished with additional dried manzanilla, optional
