Polvorones De Canela

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray baking sheet with nonstick baking spray.
  2. Beat butter and confectioners’ sugar until light and creamy, stir in vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl combine flour, salt, and cinnamon.
  4. Gradually add flour to form a smooth dough.
  5. Shape dough into 1 inch balls.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown around the edges.
  7. Combine confectioner’s sugar and ground cinnamon.
  8. Allow to cool a few minutes on baking sheet, while still warm dip cookies in cinnamon sugar mixture.
