Hibiscus Cooler

  • ½ cup dried Jamaica hibiscus flowers
  • 3 cups of water
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 star anise
  • Sugar or agave
  • Sparkling water


  1. In a medium saucepan add water, hibiscus flowers, cinnamon stick, and star anise.
  2. Bring to a boil; remove from heat and let sit for 30 minutes.
  3. Strain, add to a large pitcher; Sweeten to taste with sugar.
  4. Serve chilled.
