Cazuela Apple Honey Margarita with Cinnamon Bee Pollen Rim is a gorgeous margarita to welcome Fall. Tequila Reposado mixed with apple cider, honey simple syrup, citrus and garnished with a cinnamon, bee pollen rim.
For Honey Simple Syrup: Combine the water and honey in a small saucepan. Warm just until the honey is dissolved in the water. Remove from heat, stir in lemon, ground cinnamon and set aside. When cool, place in a resealable jar into the fridge until ready to use.
For Cinnamon Bee Pollen Rim: In a molcajete grind together ground cinnamon, salt and ground bee pollen.
To Make Apple Honey Margarita: Run a lemon wedge around cazuela or glass, dip into salt mixture and fill with ice. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, add tequila, apple juice and honey simple syrup. Shake well. Strain into prepared glass, garnish with fresh apple slices - salud!
