GUAVA MILKSHAKE

Strong female characters

With a filmography that spans nearly 40 years, Almodo has always been consistent with his memorable, outspoken, and nuanced female leads.

"

This rich and creamy milkshake is made with guavas - a tropical fruit native to Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, and South America. With a yellowish green skin and a pink or yellow inside, guavas taste like a combination of pineapple and passionfruit.

"

1

– 5 guavas – 2 tablespoons Imperial Sugar Extra Fine Granulated Sugar – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon – 1 cup milk – 2 cups vanilla ice cream

2

Slice guavas in half and with a spoon remove all seeds. In a small bowl combine four sliced guavas, sugar, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon. Stir to combine, set aside for 15 minutes.

3

Dice remaining guava, set aside. To a blender add guava sugar mixture and milk; blend until smooth.

4

Add ice cream and blend until smooth. Serve immediately garnished with remaining diced guava.
