This holiday season, I’m partnering with Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk to show you how to make these easy Brazilian Brigadeiros as part of The Uncookie Exchange . I’m joining Eagle Brand and a team of cooks nationwide to help you leave the cookies behind and create some exciting new confections this holiday season.

Homemade Brazilian Brigadeiros with Sweetened Condensed Milk

Homemade treats are always a great holiday gift idea and these brigadeiros are the perfect quick, easy, fuss-free treat. So, sit back, relax, and bask in our joyous holiday celebrations. Spread the holiday joy this season by sharing these homemade brigadeiros with familia, friends, neighbors, your child’s teacher, and even your friendly neighborhood mail carrier.

Take a break from the hassle and stress of holiday shopping by using Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk, which makes cooking up these tempting treats easy and delicious. Host a holiday Uncookie event and have guests make their own brigadeiros, using Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk.

Your guests will enjoy rolling their bite-sized candies in fun toppings like chocolate sprinkles, shredded coconut, finely chopped nuts or powdered sugar. Guests can have fun preparing a variety of hassle-free Uncookie holiday desserts, like these brigadeiros or my dulce de leche pepita bars, all while listening to your favorite Christmas carols and enjoying festive holiday cocktails.

Yield 12-15 Makes

Brigadeiros are popular Brazilian chocolates, traditionally served at birthday parties. Made with sweetened condensed milk, cocoa, and butter, these scrumptious fudge candies are the perfect addition to your holiday dessert table.

Ingredients

3 tablespoons dutch processed cocoa powder

1 (14 ounce) Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk

1 tablespoon unsalted butter

Non-stick spray or butter for rolling

To decorate: Shredded coconut

Instructions

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine cocoa powder, butter and Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk. Cook, stirring occasionally for 10 minutes. Keep in mind that the mixture will begin to thicken as it cooks. Remove from heat, allow to cool completely before handling. Lightly grease your hand with non-stick spray or butter, then using a spoon, scoop mixture, roll into smooth balls and roll in toppings. Place brigadeiros in a plate, chill before serving.
