INGREDIENTS NEEDED TO MAKE MINI CHORIZO BURGERS
chorizo (Beef or Pork) โ Mexican chorizo can be found with the breakfast meats in your grocery store. You can use pork or beef for this recipe.
ground beef โ ground beef provides a tasty and juicy base to our mini burger. I recommend using lean ground beef.
garlic cloves, finely minced
Monterrey jack cheese or any sliced cheese you prefer.

Onion, sliced
Mayo, mustard, or ketchup
Sliced pickles
- 1 (10 oz) package of chorizo (Beef or Pork)
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 garlic cloves finely minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- Monterrey jack cheese slices
- 2 pkgs (6 count) Rhodes Bake N Serve Artisan French Rolls, (12 rolls total for this recipe)
- Bacon
- Onion sliced
- mayo
- Sliced pickles

Combine chorizo, ground meat, garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix gently using your hands until combined.

Divide the beef mixture into 12 equal portions and with hands shape into small burger patties. If making in advance, cover, and place into the refrigerator until ready to cook.

Fry bacon and slice onions.

Bake rolls according to package directions.

Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Cook patties in batches for 3-5 minutes per side, then top with cheese. Place on a baking sheet in a warm oven.

Slice rolls, spread mayo, place patty on bottom bun, top with bacon, onions, and pickles.
