Blackberry Mojito
Summer is winding down; bring on National rum month – Yay! Did you know August is National rum month? It sure is and I plan to enjoy every day sipping on a fun cocktails featuring rum like pina coladas, daiquiris, swizzles and mojitos.
Today I want to share with you a fun blackberry mojito that is always a crowd pleaser. Fresh mint muddled with blackberries, sugar, rum and finally topped off with a splash of club soda. This blackberry mojito is a welcoming cocktail at the end a busy day, even better after a hectic Monday.
And guess what? I’ve finally made the leap into videos. I know, I know I should have started sooner, but I am most comfortable behind the camera shooting food than in front of it. Bottom line I’m horribly shy so this was a big leap for me. Please be patient with me as I work on being comfortable, force myself to smile more and continue to push myself out of my comfort zone. Of course, being me the first video I made was of a cocktail, this one to be precise, so enjoy my first quick video that is a walk-through of how to make a blackberry mojito, enjoy!
