The ultimate brunch cocktail my Spicy Bloody Mary cocktail is refreshing, addicting and a meal in itself.

Sweet Life Disclosure: This recipe is sponsored by Hunt’s. All opinions are my own.  Thank you for supporting the brands I collaborate with to bring you exciting, new recipes.

I can’t think of anything that makes me happier than Sunday brunch with my family & friends. A lazy Sunday spent enjoying great food, conversation, and an icy cold bloody mary.

Refreshing, addicting and almost a meal in itself a tasty Bloody Mary is the ultimate brunch cocktail. I prefer mine made with a homemade base instead of buying a pre-made mix that is often lacking in taste.

I also do not want to spend the day mixing cocktail after cocktail for my brunch guests. I’d rather enjoy my brunch then be completely wiped out from hosting.  Bring on the Bloody Mary bar!

How to Set Up a Bloody Mar Bar

I set up my Bloody Mary bar on my island. I added a colorful runner plus a few small vases of flowers for a pop of color but kept the table décor minimal because I want plenty of space to add All my glorious garnishes. A key to a great Bloody Mary bar is garnishes; it’s all about the garnished when creating the ultimate Bloody Mary bar.

Here’s a short video on how easy it is to create your own Bloody Mary bar at home.

I set out – trays of various salt rims, sliced jicama, baby corn, pickled asparagus, baby dill pickles, Duke’s shorty sausages, sliced cucumber, carrots, pickled peppers, baby zucchini, celery sticks, nuts, various hot sauces, chicharrones, corn chips and veggies snacks.

I also added a vodka and tequila reposado to my bloody bar table to give my guests an option to create their own boozy creation.

Spicy Bloody Mary Recipe with Hunt’s

I partnered with Hunt’s tomato sauce to create my Bloody Mary. Made from all-natural, vine-ripened tomatoes simmered with salt, spices, and natural flavors for seasoning, Hunt’s Tomato Sauce contains no added sugar, corn syrup, or other sweeteners and is the perfect base for my Bloody Mary.

I wanted to bring in a bit of spice to my Bloody Mary base. I started with fresh cilantro, and lime juice for freshness, cumin, salt, pepper, celery salt, and horseradish plus pickled jalapenos. A quick muddle to blend our flavors.

Hunt’s tomatoes sauce, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce and vodka round off our Bloody Mary. I prefer my Bloody Mary on the thicker side, so my guest can add additional vodka or fresh juice to their mix.

Also adding ice to our pitcher will thin our Bloody Mary slowly over time, which I found out did not affect the flavor of the cocktail.

Your brunch guests will have a blast mixing up their Bloody Mary – adding the garnishes they enjoy, and you’ll be freed from bartender duty! Double win for this brunch lover.
