Pineapple-Chorizo Sliders

Sweet Life Disclosure: This is a sponsored post with KING’S HAWAIIAN®. Thank you for supporting the companies I collaborate with to bring you exciting, new recipes.

Sliders are the perfect game day grub. Easy to make, easy to serve (buffet style) and can easily be transported to your tailgating destination. As much as I enjoy a big, juicy burger they are messy to eat and with all the commotion during game-time – most of my burger ends up on the floor. Enter sliders.

My pineapple-chorizo sliders come together easily and can be assembled a day in advanced and grilled just before kick-off. Another reason to love slider, they grill up in no time.

I recently to my local HEB which is my one-stop-shop for all game day shopping needs. Quick confession: I do most of my grocery shopping past 9:30pm. My local HEB closes at midnight, but by 9:30 the store is pretty empty, which makes shopping a breeze. There’s also the added bonus I grocery shop with my little sister. After we make dinner, help the kids with homework and send them to bed we meet at the grocery store to shop, laugh and get a little girl time in, so all in all a good time.

We always have a full house on game day, so I stocked up on KING’S HAWAIIAN® Rolls and plenty of New KING’S HAWAIIAN Original Sweet Pineapple BBQ Sauce to create my delicious sliders. My pineapple chorizo sliders are made with ground beef, chorizo, sweet pineapple bbq sauce. I top with them with avocado and loads of sautéed onions to create the tastiest game day sliders. These sliders keep my family and friends fueled with the passion they need to cheer on our beloved Houston Texans.

Look for KING’S HAWAIIAN® Rolls in your deli section at HEB. From rolls, hamburger and hot dog buns, and BBQ Sauces KING’S HAWAIIAN® products are an essential, irresistible part in elevating your menu this football season.
