INGREDIENTS NEEDED TO MAKE SPICY TUNA SANDWICHES

Canned Tuna: I recommend using tuna packed in water or tuna in pouches. You will need 10 ounces.
Hard Boiled Eggs: Many tuna salad recipes don’t include eggs, but I love the texture they add to the salad. You can omit them, but be sure to use less mayo, if you do.
Celery: Adds crunch!
Jalapenos: a touch of spice is the best combo with flaky tuna.
Mayonnaise: This is what binds all of the ingredients together and makes the salad super creamy.
Salt & pepper: To bring out all the flavor in the salad.

TIPS ON MAKING SPICY TUNA SANDWICHES
What can I substitute for mayonnaise in tuna?
Instead of mayo, you can use Greek yogurt for some added tang or salad dressing like Miracle whip.
What can I substitute for jalapenos if I don’t want it too spicy?
You can remove the seeds from the jalapeno for less heat or substitute with dill relish or diced cucumbers.
How long can I store tuna salad in fridge?
Store tuna in an airtight container in the fridge for no more than 3-5 days. I do not recommend freezing tuna salad.
