This lemon margarita cocktail is one of my favorite cocktails to make at home. I love shaking this beauty up for three reasons.
First, because itโs so simple. If you have tequila, lemons, and orange liqueur on hand, you can make it in under 5 minutes!
Second, because itโs so delicious. The lemon juice gives it a sweet, refreshing kick, paired with orange liqueur which balances it perfectly. On a warm Tejas evening thereโs nothing Iโd rather drink.
Third, this lemon margarita is simply beautiful for a pre-dinner cocktail, with popcorn while watching a movie and delightful for entertaining. I love an easy cocktail that I can prepare in advance, place in fridge and be set when guests arrive โ this lemon margarita is it!
Garnished with a thinly slice of lemon and sprinkle with lemon sugar โ stunning.
