The Hibiscus Americano
Vibrant, bright and refreshing this Hibiscus Americano is great for summer entertaining. First served up in the 1860’s at the Garspare Campari bar in Milan this cocktail features campari, a bright red spirit that is bittersweet. I adore campari with its subtle sweet,bitter notes and find any excuse to share it with my family and friends. Today I want share my version of the classic cocktail The Americano with a hint of hibiscus. Salud!
The Hibiscus Americano
Ingredients
- 1 ounce Campari
- 1 ounce sweet vermouth
- ½ ounce hibiscus liqueur
- Club soda
- Orange slice for garnish
Instructions

Pour the campari, sweet vermouth and hibiscus liqueur into a glass filled with ice, top with club soda and garnish with an orange slice.
