Orange Persimmon Margarita
Confession: The plan was to make a salad. This salad. I’m not sure when the salad plan went awry and the juicer came out.
Funny how that happens.
The outcome was gorgeous. I am simply in love with this shade of orange.
Like sunshine in a glass..that you drink…mixed with tequila. This margarita made my week. Gloomy days got a kick of citrus flavor swimming in persimmon sweetness. Enjoy!!
Orange Persimmon Margarita

With lime wedges moisten rim of 6 ounce glasses.
Dip glasses into salt.
Place glasses into freezer to chill.
In a pitcher combine tequila, orange juice, persimmon juice, agave (if using), lime juice and Cointreau.
Remove glasses from freezer and serve margarita mixture over ice.

How on earth did I miss this margarita??? I LOVE that gorgeous orange color. It looks just like the bright sunny weather outside my window. 🙂 The flavor combination sounds wonderful.
Amazing combination of flavours. CI would love to try that fantastic margarita.
Haha the juicer probably came out once that tequila craving hit. 😛 Or when you realized just how delicious this would be. LOVE persimmons.

So, the plan was to make a salad. But instead, you made a boozy cocktail instead? Love it! Some days are just meant for revised plans like that. 😉

Such a pretty drink! I totally get the ‘sunshine in a glass’ vibe 🙂 I think my poolside table is just BEGGIN for one of these margaritas!
Wow! I’m not a fan of the colour orange, but THAT one I could get used to. 😉 I love finding new ways to enjoy margaritas!

I loved that salad too…but not sure I mind the detour 🙂 The color is gorgeous!

This is the third wonderful citrus cocktail I’ve seen today—could it have something to do with the fact that we’re all stuck in mid-February? This looks luscious!
Do you need a juicer to get fresh persimmon juice?

Love the combination of flavors you used to create this delicious looking margarita! Makes me crave summer… mmm!
Hum – it’s going to take awhile to figure out how a salad turns into a margarita. That’s a new one on me. 🙂 But I have to say, if it weren’t 9:30 am, I’d be in there making this margarita! It does look delicious! Oh hell, it’s 5 pm somewhere. 🙂 Have a great weekend! Thanks for the ping to my salad!
