Y’all I’m in a commercial! Can you tell I’m excited? If you follow me on instagram, you have seen sneak peeks of the amazingly, fun time I had shooting this commercial.
I flew to Miami where a crew of talented people consisting of a stylist, make-up and hair crew got me camera ready and made me look like a well rested momma. Wow! I am in love with how they styled my hair and my makeup was perfection.
Then I got nervous…..
Imagine an entire film crew watching your every move, expression? As a blogger I am accustomed to begin behind the camera snapping pictures of food, not being the center of attention, it was nerve wrecking. My first thought was Vianney do not screw this up. My voice was shaky, my hands were trembling and I forgot every line I had rehearsed, over and over at on the plane.
And then I met the crew….
And everything clicked. They were patient, encouraging and made me feel at home. I recited my lines, adding my personal touches and became comfortable adding/editing lines the film crew suggested with each take and talked food, which always makes me happy. I teased one of my favorite recipes on this commercial – chocoflan. By the time I knew it was a wrap and the commercial was completed.
It was such a cool experience to film this video for AT&T’s Uverse Wireless Receiver and I am super happy how it turned out!
