TIPS ON MAKING WATERMELON CUCUMBER MARGARITA CAZUELA COCKTAIL
A seedless watermelon makes blending easier if you can find one, pero juice is strained before mixing so you can use a seeded melon.
Try swapping out a red watermelon for a yellow watermelon, fun!
Peeling the cucumber makes blending easier.
Add water to blender ¼ cup at a time, or more if needed to help with blending.
For the tequila, use what you like to sip. I prefer tequila that states 100% de agave on the bottle, which means the tequila is distilled only from Mexican blue agave plants. Cheaper tequilas are often muddled down with alcohol made from corn or sugar cane, resulting in a tequila that burns, taste flat and lacks flavor.
Nothing beats fresh lime juice in cocktails, fresh is always best.
I like to rim my glasses beforehand and place in the freezer for an extra chilly cocktail.
If you prefer to skip the cucumber in this cocktail, replace with more watermelon or swap out for honeydew or cantaloupe, adding 5 cups of juice melon.
WHAT IF I DON’T OWN A CAZUELA?
