Manic Mondays: to-do lists, laundry, grocery shopping and endless errands make me want to crawl back into bed and throw the covers over my head. Ugh! Thank goodness for coffee!
I‘ve found a simple way to spruce up my Monday morning coffee. A bit of a special twist to make my Monday feel like the weekends.
To give my Monday morning coffee a sweet twist I used International Delight’s new flavor: Cold Stone Creamery™ Churro Caramel.
I mean Monday mornings scream Churros! Anything to motivate myself. A layer of whipped delicious caramel floating over smooth coffee is sure to get me up and moving to conquer my to-do list.
Instead of just drizzling in my morning creamer I pop a small cup of creamer into the microwave, heat through and throw it into my blender. A few whizzes on high and I am left with a gorgeous whipped cream topping to float over my morning cup.
Monday’s don’t get any better than this…
Here’s my simple how-to to make your Monday extra special:
Whipped Churro Caramel Creamer
serves 2
Warm 1/2 creamer in microwave or stovetop until steamy, but not boiling.
Pour creamer in a blender and blend till it develops a thick layer of froth. You can also use an electric whisk for this purpose.
Spoon over coffee.
