I awake excited every morning this time of year.  I find myself daydreaming of sugar, butter and chocolate…. is it healthy no, but c’mon give a lady a break… I realize this train of thought is not derriere friendly, but people ..my buttocks and I desire to make that sacrifice for the good of others… it’s all about holiday spirit!

Hello my food lovers, did you have a fab time Tricking and Treating? Oh, we had a blast as my girlie’s cleaned up our streets as Batgirl and Robin.  So many houses to visit, so little time.   Well now that Halloween has left with a bang shall we discuss Thanksgiving treat ideas?

Our family is based is Aransas Pass, Texas where our home is located.  Over the years of moving we have not been fortunate to reside in areas where Dia de Los Muertos is widely celebrated.  Luckily we are currently living in Edinburg, Texas which is located a mere 30 minutes from the border of Mexico.  I was overjoyed to find our local museum, The Museum of South Texas History dedicating an entire day to raise awareness for the local youth of a celebration geared toward learning a bit into their  heritage.
