Happy Friday!! As citrus season winds down I couldn’t help but share one more refreshing idea. As the days pass the once 18lb bags of oranges stacked ready to be swooped up are replaced with single citrus by the dollar. Citrus season is one of my favorite seasons, but with the end of one season another quickly blesses us. A simple syrup is infused with lavender buds, allow to cool and swirl in fresh orange juice for a colorful glass of citrus shine! Enjoy!
Sipping Saturday The temperatures are rising in my little corner of the world. Light meals followed by refreshing beverages are currently on our menu. Fresh fruit for breakfast, agua fresca and paletas are what we crave. Lucky me, our endless supply of fruit continues to fuel my margarita obsession. Today I share with you a papaya margarita. Enjoy! Busy mornings call for quick, tasty, colorful meals. Fruit salad and tostadas are a two of my favorite go to breakfast meals. Both offer endless combinations of flavors. Throw into the mix a creamy avocado breakfast sauce and breakfast is served!
Sipping Saturday I made a tasty fruit salad for my girls on Wednesday. I couldn’t help but save a few slices for a bright melon margarita. The color reminds me of summer weekends spent at the beach with family. With our feet in the hot sand we would snack on cold melon. Have a wonderful weekend! Sweet Life
